Abstract

In April 2025, there was year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation in Muara Bungo of 3.54 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 109.73.
The y-on-y inflation occurred due to an increase in prices indicated by an increase in the expenditure group index, namely: food, beverages and tobacco group by 3.97 percent; clothing and footwear group by 0.28 percent; housing, water, electricity and household fuel group by 2.72 percent; household equipment, tools and routine maintenance group by 0.67 percent; health group by 1.01 percent; transportation group by 1.18 percent; information, communication and financial services group by 0.75 percent; recreation, sports and culture group by 1.32 percent; education group by 2.73 percent; food and beverage/restaurant provision group by 2.54 percent; and personal care and other services group by 17.44 percent.
The month to month (m-to-m) inflation rate was 1.79 percent and the year to date (y-to-d) inflation rate was 3.07 percent.
