Abstract

In May 2025, there was year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation in Muara Bungo of 2.06 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 108.89.
The y-on-y inflation occurred due to an increase in prices indicated by an increase in the expenditure group index, namely: food, beverages and tobacco group of 1.21 percent; housing, water, electricity and household fuel group of 2.71 percent; household equipment, tools and routine maintenance group of 0.80 percent; health group of 1.01 percent; transportation group of 0.40 percent; information, communication and financial services group of 0.44 percent; recreation, sports and culture group of 1.32 percent; education group of 2.73 percent; food and beverage/restaurant provision group of 0.07 percent; and personal care and other services group by 13.13 percent.
The month-to-month (m-to-m) deflation rate was 0.77 percent and year-to-date (y-to-d) inflation was 2.28 percent.
