Inflation in Muara Bungo City occurred because of an increase in price index in three expenditure groups, namely:
Processed Food, Beverage, Cigarettes and Tobacco Groups by 0.73 percent; Transportation Group, Communication
and Financial Services 0.55 percent; and the Health Group by 0.53 percent. Whereas four expenditure groups
others experienced deflation, namely: the Education, Recreation and Sports Group by 0.12 percent; Clothing group of 0.11 percent;
The Foodstuffs group of 0.07 percent; and the Housing, Water, Electricity, Gas and Fuel Group at 0.05 percent.
